The most beautiful Slovakian book of 2009 in the category of scientific and technical literature titled Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava 1949 – 2009, photography and graphical design by Rene Arnold, Slovart Publishing, was printed by Finidr.
This contest continues the tradition that was established in 1965 which from its beginning follows the intention to enhance the illustration level and quality of book printing process. Entered books are evaluated by 20 member jury according to their illustrational as well as printing aspects and also according to interplay of all components represented in the book. Every year, a new award-wining collection of maximum of twenty books is presented. These books meet strict illustrational and technical criteria in order to be declared the most beautiful Slovakian books.
