Dear Colleagues,
We are in full season and, as we do every year, we are faced with many challenges that we must address in order to meet our customers’ expectations.
So far, we have not been very successful and the slow start-up, coupled with high sickness and higher machine breakdown rates, has made it difficult for us to produce and therefore deliver to our customers as we have been used to.
We are taking a lot of steps to improve this situation and to stabilise the delivery of orders both in terms of quality and in terms of meeting deadlines. I believe that within a month we will be able to find solutions and answers to all the current problems together.
During September, October and November, we will gradually install and commission several new machines. These technologies bring us new possibilities, but they also require a lot of patience and care to get them up and running.
Along with the new machines come a number of new employees. I ask not only for a great deal of patience, but also for a great deal of support, especially in the training process, so that these employees can become a permanent addition to our team. Despite the many challenges we have with our current production and the installation of the new machines, I am confident that by working together we can overcome all these challenges.
I want to thank you for your helpfulness during this period. At the same time, I would like to appeal to you not to forget what makes us unique in this challenging time – the emphasis on quality.
Every detail is important, every step, across all departments, is meaningful. Our meticulousness and responsible approach are key to ensuring that our work results in books we can be proud of.
I am confident that together we can meet our customers’ expectations and that this autumn season will be further proof of our professionalism and dedication to our work.
