EcoVadis has awarded our printery silver award
In July, our printery underwent another audit by EcoVadis, an international company specializing in corporate social responsibility (CSR) assessment.
This award, which is the sixth time we have received it, is a confirmation that we have managed to improve year on year in various aspects of our business. Our ongoing commitment to sustainability and ethics has placed FINIDR at the forefront in the printing industry.
The EcoVadis methodology, considered the most credible assessment of business sustainability, includes 21 criteria divided into four main categories: environment, human rights, ethical conduct and sustainable development.
We are committed to continuing to improve and develop our performance in these key areas to maintain and further strengthen our leadership position in the industry.
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification
As every year, the ISO 9001 and 14001 certification audits focused on quality and environment were traditionally carried out in June at both branches of our company.
All the recommendations that were recorded during last year’s audit were gradually processed and in some cases even addressed within company-wide projects, such as employee development, material and energy saving projects.
This year, the areas selected for audit were personnel training, the maintenance system and the standard order flow from registration, processing in production to dispatch. No non-conformities in the system were found in this audit that would prevent us from obtaining further certification.
The auditor particularly appreciated the professionalism and precision of the staff in the areas concerned, but also pointed out minor deficiencies which will be addressed as we move forward.
This year, we have started another round of the three-year cycle and are committed to quality and the environment and will once again devote our efforts and energy to continue to improve.
