My love of reading has been with me since I was a child and I was especially drawn to beautifully crafted books. The training process made me even more interested in all the details of how a book is created. I was amazed at the possibilities offered by the new technologies that FINIDR use and are keeping up with technological developments with ease. And also that the process of how the book is born across departments is so challenging.
I was amazed at how many skilled people are involved in the actual creation process, either directly or indirectly. The result is a product for which, according to statistics, Czech readers are willing to spend money for above the world average, and books have long been in the top five most popular Christmas gifts. And what am I looking forward to? To be able to be at the birth of interesting book titles thanks to my new position.

Head of Technology department and Cooperation
I joined FINIDR six months ago. After the first week of a quick learning curve focused on the general workings of the company, I was in for a marathon of learning, understanding the processes, production and overall running of the print shop. This was one of my biggest challenges on the job as the printing industry is new to me. I myself was curious to see how the first few months would go and I must humbly say that I did not expect such a welcome.
I would like to thank my team for their welcome and helping hand in understanding all the processes and operations, as well as everyone I have had the opportunity to draw from and learn from across all departments. I trust that I will be able to catch up with all of you as soon as possible and that we will be able to work together to develop all the visions that FINIDR has set out to fulfil. I look forward to it!
