Student practice in the fields of printer, polygrapher and electrician: building the future in practice

Text: Miroslava Kupková

At FINIDR, students’ professional practice is not only a compulsory step in the educational process, but an important part of preparing young people for their future careers. As well as acquiring skills, the internship is also about building working relationships and understanding the workings of the printing process up close.

This year has brought to FINIDR one student of printing in the 3rd year, 15 students in the 2nd year, 28 students of printing and three students of electrical engineering. All of them took part in the training under the guidance of experienced colleagues from the printing and maintenance department and gave it a very positive evaluation. The students appreciated not only the technical knowledge they gained, but also the friendly attitude of the staff and the opportunity to be actively involved in production.

Some students decided to continue their career at FINIDR after graduation, which is a proof to the quality of the training provided during the internship. The extension of the cooperation to the electromechanics field brings new opportunities for cooperation with secondary schools. Students in this field can participate in the maintenance of machines with the support of experienced foremen who provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills.

The internship of electrical students is a new experience for FINIDR. We will carefully evaluate the course of this internship and its benefits for the company and the students. We believe that it will be as successful as it was for the printers. Working with students is not only an investment in the future of the company, but also in the future of young people who, thanks to this internship, gain not only practical skills, but also valuable experience for their future careers.
