Sport, relaxation, but also strategy. All in one place. Even with these slogans, our league could be simply introduced. That’s why I’m delighted that the group of participants in this year’s FINIDR corporate badminton and bowling league has grown with new faces. Are you among them?
Every Wednesday afternoon, the Activity4Fun centre comes alive. Since mid-January, the next season of our FINIDR Corporate League has been underway.
It’s not just about sports matches, but also an atmosphere that combines a relaxed mood, friendship and healthy competition. No need to worry.
When you say corporate league, you might think…
“I don’t go there, only the good guys go there! I can barely hit it. What am I going to do there? Bowling? Unless I’m bowling with a baby barrier – I’m a master of the gutter!”
… but for nothing!
What makes the league special?
I guess it’s because we’re breaking down these “prejudices”. We don’t play it safe, everyone plays the way they know how. And it’s true – what we all make of it, that’s the league we’ll have. It’s not about individuals, it’s about us, in this case the Finidraks sports collective. And so far it’s working great!
The more experienced players will even be happy to give you advice or pass on their tips. And that’s what it’s all about. Not about the trophy at the end (sure, that’s a nice extra bonus), but just about getting better and seeing the progress in ourselves at the end.
Our corporate league is open to all, but with no obligation to participate regularly. Signing up doesn’t mean you have to come every time. We understand that family, clubs, work commitments and shifts can affect your free time. That’s why it’s okay if you only join occasionally – every participation counts!
It doesn’t matter if you want to measure your strength with your colleagues or just actively relax after a day at work. The main thing is to enjoy the movement and the good atmosphere. Come whenever you feel like it – we would love to see you!
And what’s next?
At the end of March the last playing dates will take place and we will be done for the year. We will introduce this year’s champions and medal winners in the next issue of the newsletter.
Finally, all that is missing is a thank you to everyone who entered this year’s event. Without you, there would be no league!
