Dear Colleagues,

When I came across a statue of Winston Churchill on a recent visit to Prague, I was reminded of his words: “Resolve in war, defiance in defeat, magnanimity in victory, goodwill in peace.” And I must say that they have something to say to us too – in our daily work.

Book printing, like any other business, brings challenges, successes and quieter moments. We have to be decisive when new customer demands come up or when deadlines press us. And there is never lack of those challenges – a changing market, rising costs, pressure on quality and speed. Every day we look for ways to improve and keep up with the times.

Sometimes things go wrong, but we never give up. Our printing house history shows that obstacles have only made us stronger. And that’s why we are where we are today – as one of the best printing companies in Europe.

For us, winning is not just about numbers or volumes of books produced. It’s also a stable team, customer satisfaction and the quality of our work. And the real strength is when we support each other, share our experience and pull together.

Spring is a symbol of new beginnings, energy and growth. Even though there are more challenges ahead, I believe we will meet them as well as the previous ones. I thank each and every one of you for your commitment and desire to do your job well. Thanks to you, every book that passes through our hands bears not only the stamp of quality, but also of dedication and pride in what we create.

Thank you and have a wonderful spring and Easter holidays.

Yours Jarek Drahoš
