CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) means that a company does more than just make money – it behaves fairly towards people, nature and society as a whole. This means, for example, comparable conditions without discrimination for employees, environmentally friendly waste and energy management, support for the local community or charitable projects. It’s about making business not just about profit, but also about responsibility towards the environment.
What have we done in this respect in 2024?
- 15% reduction in gas consumption
One of the most significant projects was a focus on reducing energy consumption in our operations. For example, in addition to energy-saving technologies, we used heat from compressors to heat the administration building. - 4 successful certifications
The next step in our CSR activities was the successful audit of our carbon footprint management, certification according to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and EcoVadis (corporate sustainability assessment). - 12 000 new trees
For the fourth year in a row, we have planted as many trees in the Beskydy Mountains as we have produced orders. This will help clean the air and also support the plants and animals that live in the forest. - 25% reduction in water consumption
Thanks to a range of water saving measures, we were able to reducing water consumption by a quarter over the course of the year. - 53% increase in the output of our photovoltaics
We completed the second phase of the expansion of the solar panels on the roofs of the printing plant. This allows us to generate even more of our own electricity, reducing costs and helping the environment at the same time.
Our commitment to environmental improvements and active participation in environmental protection not only helps us save costs, but also contributes to a better world for future generations. We look forward to further CSR challenges and successes and will continue to strive to reduce our environmental impact.
