We are happy to bring you great news! The latest one is about our recent employee commitment event where we plant one new tree for every job. So unlike last fall, when the weather was not in our favor and we were unable to attend the planting in person, this year’s planting conditions were ideal and we were finally able to get back out into the mountain terrain and start planting. Together we planted 1,800 new trees in two days!
This event once again brought us not only the joy of working together, but also an important step towards the restoration of our forests. Thanks to our partner non-profit organization, we found a suitable location for planting this time as well.
Due to the local mountain monoculture, we planted only fir seedlings. Once again, our employees showed their commitment and enthusiasm in engaging in this important and worthwhile activity, which we are very pleased about.
The remaining trees that resulted from the spring orders were planted by the non-profit organization before the end of April and the beginning of May. More plantings are planned for this fall, and we firmly hope that the weather will cooperate and we will be able to be there!
Since the start of our initiative, we and our clients have helped reforest our forests by an amazing 38,771 trees!
