The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a global organisation that certifies forests and products based on strict ecological, social and economic standards. Together with its members, certificate holders and responsible consumers, the organisation aims to ensure the responsible use of forests and forest products worldwide.
As part of the audit, it was checked in particular whether FSC-labelled material is correctly separated from other material on the way from the forest to the market. The warehouses, production and associated documentation were also checked.
The result of the audit is once again the satisfaction of the auditor with the facts found. This gives us the opportunity to produce FSC-certified book titles for another year, which guarantees our customers that certified material from sustainably managed forests with proven wood origin is used for the production of the book.
